Case Study: Transforming BT Sport to TNT Sports - A Seamless Visual Journey

Client: BT Sport (Now TNT Sports)

Partnership Commencement: Since 2016

Challenge

When BT Sport announced their transition to TNT Sports, we were entrusted with the significant task of redesigning their extensive library of social graphic templates. Our goal was to reimagine their existing templates (many of which we’d designed previously) with the new TNT Sports branding. Ensuring optimal usability for the social producers at TNT, who would be tasked with working with the templates, was essential.

Approach

Collaborating with Dixon Baxi, who supplied the brand guidelines, we focused on typography, colors, and key brand elements to breathe new life into our seven-year portfolio of social graphics. Taking special care with the social templates, we created a vast deck of social assets tailored to excel on the unique platform of social media.

Execution

We meticulously crafted social assets for a diverse range of sports, including Football, UFC, Rugby, WWE, and MotoGP. With an in-house social team in mind, we ensured user-friendly designs that seamlessly catered to a dynamic, live sports environment.

Results

Our revamped deck of social assets not only aligned seamlessly with the TNT Sports branding but also maintained brand synergy across digital and linear channels. Regardless of subscribers' viewing devices, the visual experience remained consistent and captivating.

We worked with Dave and Playbook Studios on some bespoke social assets for our match week content as part of Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2024.

Dave took on the brief at speed, immediately took on board the brand guidelines and delivered a suite of assets that were premium quality and nailed the brief provided to him.

I would highly recommend Playbook Studios if you need high quality content delivered at speed.
