Case Study: LFC "WALK ON" - A Season-Long Social Media Creative endeavour for Liverpool FC

Challenge

Collaborating with Liverpool FC's social media team, our mission was to provide matchday graphics for every league game played by both Liverpool Men's and Women's sides. The project aimed to maintain a fresh and unique style for each game while upholding consistency through the use of fonts, colors, and imagery. Titled "WALK ON," the project aligned with the club's mission statement for the 2022/23 season, incorporating the "WALK ON" branding into all creative content.

Approach

ITo achieve our goal, we embraced project management and art direction, commissioning diverse designs for each matchday graphic based on our creative brief. The collaboration spanned the globe, involving talented artists from the USA, Peru, Australia, Thailand, and beyond.

Execution

Each matchday graphic showcased a distinct style that resonated with the game's context, keeping followers excited and engaged throughout the season. The "WALK ON" branding served as a unifying element across the series, reinforcing the club's mission while bolstering recognition.

Results

The "WALK ON" series proved to be a monumental success, captivating followers and generating massive engagement on Liverpool FC's social media channels worldwide. The creative endeavour set Liverpool FC apart from the crowd on busy matchdays, elevating their social media presence and solidifying their position as a standout force in the football community.
